Beech (Fagus) Wooden Floor

Beech belongs to the same family as the Oak. It can live up to 600 years. Beech yields a clear and clean pink tan colour with a straight closed and gentle grain. Due to its fine texture it is perfect to children room. The sapwood is almost pale white. Beech floor has great hardness, elasticity and resistance to any attrition and strokes.

Classification:

Standard: natural slight discolourations, allowed “tongue” of sapwood (which makes a view of bright floor), accented wood structure, without knots;

Rustic: wider natural discolorations, frequent and small knots, accented differential and natural structure of grain, can occurs curly grain;

Beyond class: wide natural discolourations, even grey, very diversified wood structure, frequent knots;
