Jatoba (Hymenaea) Wooden Floor

The average maximum height of Jatoba tree is 40 m and measures about 1.5 m around. It belongs to the same group as Acacia and Doussie.
Jatoba (also known as Brazilian Cherry) Wood characterize wide colour loads, from salmon red tan to orange tan to reddish tan with interlaced grain. The sapwood of jatoba is gray-white tan. It is durable and near 60% harder than oak. Due to its extreme hardness and density it is suitable for ship buldings, wood bridges and ferniture. Jatoba Wood is also very resistant to any enviromental factors: attrition, strokes, contraction, moisture, rot and even insects (termites). Nowadays Brazillian Cherry is very affordable.
